I don't. If she was stupid enough to get drunk, have sex AND forget about a tampon...

I don't. If she was stupid enough to get drunk, have sex AND forget about a tampon... Yes. But you make it sound like she was stupid 3 times. She was just stupid to get drunk. The rest followed naturally from that. You just can't watch someone go through that and not feel sorry for them. At least, I can't. My feeling was that it was the first time she had actually been confronted with the consequences of her life-style. That's different from her mum telling her off. It was like, it was the first time she realised she was mortal. She could so easily have died from this. Eight days. Anyway, it was enough to put me off tampons for life. Funny it didn't put me off alcohol or sex... ;D

Hi, its me Ayla. I see midwife stories, are still going on. Glad I didn't interupt anything. Sam knows I'm a Carlos Bernard fan, I have a gran daughter named Kaylee. I play piano and don't belong to to many forums. I really this one. Good Job Frank.

OH, the tampon story, I bet that women was embarrassed to go to the doc and waited to long. I new a woman and the string fell off, she said it took about 8 days or so and the tampon desolved. Not a state I would want to be in. Horrible.

Interrupt away, ayla. It's so exciting you have a grand daughter! I also play piano, but I'm very rusty. I also wanted to say, about your friend, that she was very lucky. I can only imagine it disintegrated and came out in little bits. I'm sure in that situation I'd be really embarrassed. But I'd rather be embarrassed than die of toxic shock. I suppose this is a rather long introduction, but really it show two things about myself. I like the art of story-telling. I like telling stories, I like hearing stories. Also, I tend to go off at a tangent. Anyway, good chatting!

Smitten - As a female myself, I enjoy hearing birthing stories. But Toxic Shock, that can kill ya. I guess we put Sam over the edge. Nice to hear someone else plays piano. I play composers, Debussy, Chopin, Ravel and many others, I play the most from Debussy.
