:)Tell where you were born, and where you live now, and if you are near anything of importance. If not list what around you. Born in Glendale, CA and raised in Burbank CA for most of my life. Now I reside in Tujunga, CA at the base of the foothills. Quiet town that closes up shop at 5:00. If you want to do anything, go someplace else. There's plenty near by. I stay at home more now. I call these places towns because they small, they are listed as cities, Tujunga is smaller than Burbank. I am not that far from Hollywood, CA or Los Angeles, CA

I've heard of Glendale, Ayla, because that's where Kiefer was in jail!
I come from a small town in the west of Scotland called Kilwinning. That was a real hot-bed of sectarianism, probably still is.
I now live in the east, in a little place called Edinburgh. We get tourists, sometimes, in Edinburgh. Nice place - couples of castles, hills, plenty to do.
I've lived in different places before settling here. Stirling (central Scotland) and Jerusalem (Israel).
I wouldn't want to move now while the kids are growing up. But there would be the possibility of moving later, with my work. New Zealand, Australia and Canada are good places for this. Or Wales, possibly.

I'm from Guernsey, Channel Islands. Tiny island, boring as hell, but very good for torrrrrrentttzzzzzz because no one cares Yes, we have cars, traffic lights and roads, but no motorways or dual carriageways, railways or anything like that. We can't have any Boeings land at our airport because they'd destroy the runway, which is only about 5 centimeters long.

I'd never heard of Lincoln cathedral - it looks amazing. They don't build them like that anymore...

I'd never heard of Lincoln cathedral - it looks amazing. They don't build them like that anymore... they really don't. it is an amazing thing to see and it dominates our skyline, but even after living in lincoln all my life i've only visited it once!

Bizarre - I had a dream last night about going to Lincoln.
I'll tell you a story about the town I'm from. There was an armed robbery of a securicor van on the road from this town to Glasgow - just a few miles from where I was born. On the radio they said (I kid you not):
"Police report this was a highly sophisticated operation, and no locals are suspected."

Thanks for all the response, interesting places we live in. Frank, yours takes the cake I think, you must travel back and forth alot to England, right.
Yes, Kiefer stayed in Glendale, which is near by where I live. Glendale is an independant city, and was the best place around for Kiefer to do his service. Shall we say. It's been a year now.

That's the only way to get anywhere, either take a plane to Paris or London.
