Jon Cassar (director of many episodes since season 2) and Joseph Hodges (set designer) are leaving the 24 team. What do you think? Can season 8 be good without them?

What?! Jon Cassar is brilliant! So is Hodges, it was his idea for the barcode strips on the CTU office windows. It's the beginning of the end!

On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, new blood brings fresh ideas? I don't know.
I know Kiefer loves working with Jon. But he comes across as a really arrogant prick on the DVDs. Maybe you need to be arrogant to do the job?
As long as the new blood respect the history of the show, I imagine all will be well. It's only natural for people to move on after a while.

Smitten is right. There need to be more ideas! Im sick of the same things all the time!! For example there is almost the exact same scene in season 2 and 6, the one where Elizabeth Nash has to pretend she doesnt know her boyfriend is a terrorist and she ends up hurting him, it was the same in season 6 with Lisa. It just annoys me so much! There need to be new people for the show to be creative!
