holy shiz
off the cuff, unsuspecting DOUBLE EPISODE. That's right, i was expecting one hour of awesome, and instead I got 2 hours of awesome.
love it love it. The entry to the white house? foreseeable but not so much that I wasn't still surprised. good episode. Jack got another kill, which is always good. Pierce back in the saddle doing his thing. too bad he got shot though. and we finally get a little Jon Voight action. Gotta admit, I didn't see Jack giving up taylor to juma. that was sort of out of left field. that seems to be jack's one weakness, if you can call it that. The President is the President and Jack does as he is ordered. that was clear when he answered the call on Barnett.
not to mention, one of the best lines jack has ever delivered
Mayer - "you're reprehensible Bauer"
Bauer - "and you sir are weak. Unwilling and unable to look evil in the eye and deal with it."

Jeez! What a great episode. This season is not failing to entertain. And Evil, that line was fantastic.

Great episodes! When Renee jumped onto the boat I was like 'what the hell is she doing?' I think it was so stupid of her to do that, it was only her alone vs. at least 12 soldiers, jumping into the water while she had her phone on again wasnt the smartest move. I think she is trying rea hardl to prove something, that she is strong like any other agent mainlly the males and sometimes she is taking it too far. And for some reason after these episodes I really dont belive tat Eithan is the mole or the traitor, he left a good impression this time and Im happy that I wasnt wrong from the start

1.) Sun Tzu said, some 1500 or more years ago, that occasionally the best offense is to be where your enemy doesn't expect you to be
2.) Renee is trying to prove something. She's struggling with the fact that she despises Jack Bauer but agrees with him at the same time. She understands why he does what he does, she has shown that she agrees. She's staring at that line that she isn't quite ready to cross.
She agrees with Jack and she despises herself for it.

1.) Sun Tzu said, some 1500 or more years ago, that occasionally the best offense is to be where your enemy doesn't expect you to be Thats true but she didnt have any chance against them and that was stupid, if Larry Moss wouldnt have come she would have been dead. I agree with everything else you said but I dont think she despises Jack at all, she just dont know and dont understand everything he has been though and reasons he is being so cold to things that are hard for her. Other than that I think she likes him a bit actually.

Irrelevant. Jack would have been Killed by Kingsly had CTU not arrived. And by Nina had CTU not arrived, etc. etc.
the outcome is what is important. Her cell phone was destroyed. She new it was her duty to keep tabs on them. She did the only thing she could have done.
and you misunderstood me, or I didn't clarify. Renee doesn't despise JACK'S CHARACTER. She like how honorable and forthwith he is. She like his resolve, etc.
She just doesn't like the way he comes to his end. I think mainly because she's ideally opposed to what Jack employees, but see it's usefulness and is hesitating stepping to far over that wide gray line.
